Youth Programs - Sea to Sky

Provided by Sea to Sky Community Services

Offers various programs for youth living in Whistler, Pemberton and Squamish.
The following programs are offered:
Special Needs Resource Program: This program provides one-to-one and group opportunities to youth with developmental disabilities. Youth develop social and recreational skills through experiencing a variety of activities and settings.

Youth Transitioning to Adulthood: This program is for youth ages 13 – 18 who are living independently, as well as youth who are experiencing social, emotional and/or behavioural challenges that would benefit from connecting with a Youth Outreach Counsellor. The Youth Outreach Counsellor helps young people live a healthy lifestyle and offers:
  • Support with life skills, self-care and general adulting
  • Support securing stable housing and income
  • Provide information and referrals
  • Support and advocacy around accessing appropriate social services, as well as mental and physical health care

Eligibility for Youth Transitioning to Adulthood:
  • Ministry of Child and Family Development (MCFD) Referral
  • Youth aged 13-18 and experiencing issues related to youth independence and wellbeing
