Kelty Dennehy Mental Health Resource Centre - Support & Information for Mental Health Challenges

A place where family, friends and those affected by mental health challenges can feel comfortable seeking support, getting trusted information, and finding community resources.
The Kelty Dennehy Mental Health Resource Centre (KDMHRC) offers educational opportunities and on-the-ground support and problem solving provided by people with lived experience of mental illness. The centre works towards creating a safer space for community members and strives to be accountable. The centre is integral to developing community and addressing barriers and stigma surrounding mental health issues. KDMHRC services and supports are offered at no cost.

Services and supports at the KDMHRC are best suited for:
  • People who are affected by mental health challenges
  • Family and friends of people affected by mental health challenges
  • Health care professionals and community members supporting people with mental health challenges
Services include:
  • Peer Navigator to help you along your journey through the mental health system
  • Resource Library with books available on a wide range of mental health resources
  • Links to community mental health resources
  • An online portal of community-based mental health resources
  • Social Support Groups and Courses
