Offers drug testing for unexpected substances like Fentanyl, Xylazine, benzos and other compounds.
Whistler Community Services Society offers a drug checking service to anyone who would like to check drug samples with the support of trained Drug Checking Technicians using an FTIR Spectrometer and Fentanyl, Benzodiazepines, and LSD test strips.

Appointments are available on a drop in basis Tuesdays and Fridays 2:30 PM - 5:30 PM and operate on a first-come, first-served basis. The appointment usually takes 10-15 minutes on average, and clients can expect to spend approximately 30 minutes with the team to get set up, run the test, and access harm reduction resources or information.
