Squamish Pain Program

For people with persistent pain and experience of substance use and/or mental health issues.
A program for people with persistent pain and experience of substance use and/or mental health issues. The program offers:
Free health services: individual health care services including Physiotherapy, Counselling, Yoga Therapy and Massage Therapy.

A pain series titled "making sense of Pain": The series is a ten-week class series to learn what you can do to change your pain. Pre-registration is recommended; drop-ins are welcome. The program is offered out of two locations, Squamish and Whistler.

To be eligible, you must be:
  • At least 17 years old
  • Living in Squamish or Whistler
  • Living with chronic pain (e.g. back pain, headaches, arthritis, fibromyalgia, etc.), and
  • Living with mental health issues (e.g. anxiety, depression, etc.) and/or using substances like opioids, stimulants, etc.
Making sense of pain location and schedule:
  • Squamish location and times: Under One Roof, 37871 Third Ave, Time (TBD).
  • Whistler location and times: Thursdays, Sept 28 - Nov 30, from 12 pm - 2 pm. @Whistler Community Services Society in the boardroom (8000 Nesters Road).
