Seniors (55+) Programs - Cedar Cottage Neighbourhood House

Provides programs for seniors aged 55+ to meet the needs of the Kensington-Cedar Cottage neighbourhood.
Programs offered include:
  • Adult Day Programs: Provides supportive, culturally inclusive health, social stimulation, and therapeutic recreation to older adults with physical and/or cognitive challenges who live in the community by themselves or with caregivers. Monday to Friday 10:00am - 2:00pm. $10 per day includes the program, meal, and HandyDART fare. See the Cedar Cottage ADP Brochure.
  • Games and Crafts: Join for a casual afternoon of games and crafts with other seniors in the community. Bring a book, your knitting, a deck of cards or a board game to share. Coffee and tea will be available. Registration required, please call to inquire for availability. No cost to attend.
  • Supper Club: Join for a hot, balanced, nutritious meal program for seniors in the community. Registration is required. Wednesday 3:30pm - 5:30pm. Cost is $10.
  • Tea Time: Join for a cup of coffee or tea to socialize with other seniors in the community. Registration required, please call to inquire for availability. No cost to attend.
  • Wellness Workshops: Join for informational presentations and workshops by community members and organizations. Monthly, times and dates will vary depending on presenters. No cost to attend.
