Offers various programs for children, families and parents in Whistler.
The following programs are offered:
  • PLAY Credit – Program & Leisure Assistance for You (PLAY): For financially restricted Whistler families and individuals. Available to Whistler Residents who have lived there for six months plus. Financially restricted Whistler families and individuals can receive a $148 credit per person to be applied toward a gym membership, swimming, skating, yoga and other group classes offered at the Meadow Park Sports Centre.
  • Holiday Helper: Financially restricted Whistler families can apply for a Christmas helper. Each child from eligible families will receive a $100 gift card of choice, and each family member will receive a $50 grocery store card! Connect with an Outreach Worker to discuss financial eligibility. Book an appointment at 604-932-0113 or schedule a time online.
  • Pregnancy & Infant Loss Support: For anyone who has experienced the loss of a pregnancy or infant. Please visit our website for up to date program schedule and registration information.
  • Camp Fund: Subsidies to immerse kids in a camp experience – art, nature, sports camps, and more. For children up to 17 years old and families needing financial assistance.
  • Kids on the Move: Subsidies to get kids moving and playing with others in coach-led sporting activities. For children up to 17 years old, families needing financial assistance.
  • Supporting Today's Teens: Get support and training on how to support today’s teens. Parents and Caregivers of teens (13-19 years old) in Whistler, Pemberton and Squamish area to get together in-person, to learn from community experts and have connections and conversations to support each other. Takes place once a week for 3-4 sessions, in the fall and spring. Various times and dates.
