Food Bank and Breakfast Club - Whistler

Provides assistance to individuals and families who need help with regular meals or lack financial capacity to adequately feed oneself.
Food Bank: Please bring a reusable bag/backpack for your food. Food Bank will operate for drop-ins on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 1:30 PM - 5:30 PM and by appointment only on Saturdays. Closed on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Statutory Holidays. You don't need to register. The Food Bank is in the WCSS building at 8000 Nesters Road.

Breakfast Club: This program delivers snacks and lunch items on Mondays and Wednesdays to all five of Whistler's schools. There is no application process.
Snacks and lunch items will be available throughout the day for students who may have forgotten to pack a lunch and/or require additions to their lunch. A typical menu includes a variety of sandwiches, fresh-cut veggies and dip, fruit, granola bars, hummus and crackers, cheese and yogurt, among other snack items. The program is designed to improve food security and nutrition for all students, which helps with their academic engagement. School Lunches are easy for students to access at self-serve refrigerators or through teachers and administrators.
